OwlCast ("the App") is an AirPlay receiver for Android TV, developed and published by TechyOwls ("we", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
The App operates entirely on your local network. All screen mirroring, video casting, and audio streaming happens directly between your iPhone and your Android TV over your local WiFi network. No data passes through our servers.
The App uses Google Sign-In to identify your account for subscription management through Google Play Billing. We receive your email address and display name from Google. This information is used solely to manage your subscription status and is not stored on any external server.
Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Google Play. We do not process payments directly. Google's privacy policy governs payment data handling. Our license verification server receives only your purchase token (not payment details) to validate your subscription status.

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
All AirPlay connections are encrypted using FairPlay and Ed25519 authentication. Subscription verification uses HTTPS with certificate pinning. No user data is stored on our servers beyond what is necessary for subscription verification.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
